Evangelization Office
"Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand,
where it gives light to all in the house"
Matthew 5:15
The Evangelization office strives to evangelize our parish community, with the direction of our Pastor, through overseeing events, retreats and now with the initiation of our St. John the Baptist School of Evangelization courses to grow spiritually in our catholic faith. We are here to guide and support the ministries with their projects. We are a very busy parish and the office maintains the calendar for ministry events, retreats, school events, SCRC events, School of Evangelization Courses and Meeting rooms to ensure a smooth operation and to avoid conflicts. Our office was also instrumental in developing the new parish website. We are responsible for communicating with the Parish Ministries and groups and to handle their concerns. Lastly, we oversee the rental of the Parish Hall for private events.
Our hope is to build a vibrant faith community, working together by way of the virtue of unity; for one common goal and that is to grow spiritually in our catholic faith, advance the Kingdom of God and to save souls.
In Christ,

In loving memory of Olivia Delgado-Hernandez, a faithful servant and devoted leader who was a member of the Evangelization office and was involved in several ministries. You could always find her at Sunday mass serving as an Extraordinary Minister of the Holy Eucharist. After the Covid shutdown, Olivia volunteered to be the Lead for the Parish Fiesta which was a monumental task as it was the first after the shutdown. She was also the coordinator of the Ladies of Light ministry and one of the leaders of the Annual Ladies Tea fundraiser. Olivia was a generous person and helped those around her, in her personal life as well as her church community, like the Young Adults and Life Teen to name a few. Olivia also had a devotion to the Flame of Love Ministry. Her unwavering commitment to her faith and community touched the lives of many. Olivia's passion for service, warm spirit and giving heart inspired those around her, fostering a sense of unity. Olivia's life was a testament to the virtues of humility and gratitude. As we remember her, let us seek to serve our parish and spread charity and kindness all for the honor and glory for the Kingdom of God. She is survived by her beloved husband, her 3 beloved adult children, her 7 beloved grandchildren and her beloved father. Olivia, you are truly missed, rest in peace.
