Filipino Ministry

The Filipino Ministry within the parish focuses on reinforcing the cultural, religious, and spiritual values of Filipinos. It diligently promotes and celebrates various religious feasts that are significant to Filipinos, such as the Feast of the Black Nazarene, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Lourdes, San Lorenzo Ruiz, and the Santo Nino as well as the Simbang gabi, Flores de Mayo and Santacruzan.

Additionally, the ministry facilitates the weekly celebration of the Filipino Sunday Mass and organizes monthly devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Healing Mass every other month.

The ministry also coordinates with other parish ministries during events such as the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Tonaya and Divine Mercy. During Lent, the Ministry hosts  the Pabása and coordinates the 7 last words. It actively supports the Parish Fiesta and collaborates with neighboring parishes and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles to advance the Filipino Catholic faith.
