Metanoia is not a movement, but rather a center of evangelization or a school of evangelization.  Metanoia Center for the New Evangelization can be compared to a tool that forms new evangelizers.  Since we are not a movement, this makes it easier for us to work with parish groups and ministries that want to train their members.  In short, we are at the service of all parish movements and pastoral teams.

In our logo, we try to summarize our mission:

  • The Letter "M" (metanoia) Greek word, which means change of mentality and life.  It represents the conversion of the heart to Christ.  It is also the "M" of Mary, Mother of the Church and first evangelizer.
  • Inside the Letter "M" is a bible.  "To ignore the scriptures is to ignore Christ" (St. Jerome).  The Word of God and the teaching of the Church are our take-off runway and landing place.
  • Between the pages of The Bible, you can see a dove.  The Holy Spirit is the driving force and protagonist of The New Evangelization
  • The flame represents the fire and zeal for the gospel, as well as the charisms that The Holy Spirit pours out for the edification of the body of Christ: The Church

Our general objective is to evangelize, train evangelizers and train the trainers of the evangelizers.
